Carbohydrate food

Complex or Simple?
Carbohydrate food is broken into two categories. Simple and complex.
If you're trying to get a six pack you should consume more complex carbohydrates. Complex carbs contain more fiber and take longer to digest. The slow absorption of sugars provides us with a steady supply of energy and limits the amount of sugar converted into stored body fat!
Here is the top carbs food list:
Vegetables(green leaf)
Sweet potatoes(yams)
Brown rice
Whole wheat bread
Legumes (lentils, soybeans)
Oatmeal
Wholegrain cereals
Shredded wheat

Carbohydrates will make you fat if you eat too much of them. You need complex carbs an hour before you start exercise for energy and simple carbs after the exercise to start the recovery process.
Bad carbs food choices(Simple):
White bread
Sugar-sweetened cereal
White rice
Fruit juices
Bagels
The only time you should consume simple carbs is after your workout.
