Increasing the ratio of protein in the diet is now considered a safe, effective strategy that lowers blood fat concentrations and improves insulin/glucose metabolism. These are important benefits that ensure better fat loss, particularly when calorie intake is controlled.

Unlike high-carb diets, protein-rich diets promote steady insulin and blood glucose levels that ensure body fat is still metabolized and utilized for energy. This benefit is thought to be enhanced by moderate calorie-restriction. To get lean and stay lean there is no need to go on semi-starvation diets; simply increase the ratio of protein in your diet, perform some sort of exercise almost daily and follow a moderately calorie-restricted diet.

Due to the multitude of benefits it provides, VP2 Whey Isolate should be the first protein source considered when health-conscious people choose to increase their protein intake.
